Cash Donations

Thanks to the donations and the sale of derivative products, we are able to make cash donations to various pediatric hospitals as well as to UNICEF so that they can carry out their mission with children. Cash donations are dedicated to specific sectors of the chosen hospitals.
When you buy a derivative product, you’re joining a vast network of solidarity for children. You can also make a donation directly to Faces of Hope.
Thank you!

Here are a few of the fundraising activities initiated up to now:
Two books 12 Heroes Among Us were auctioned off during the annual Sainte-Justine Foundation golf tournament held on September 9th. One of the books was sold for $50 and the other for $80. Thank you to our generous donors!

A book 12 Heroes Among Us, signed by Céline Dion and all the authors, was given to Khiem Dao, the Executive Director of Sainte-Justine University Hospital Center, when he retired on September 17th. The Réseau Familles d'aujourd'hui made a symbolic donation of $100 for this autographed book. A personal letter from the Angélil-Dion couple came with the book highlighting the outstanding work done by Mr. Khiem Dao at Sainte-Justine Hospital.

Diane Racine, a volunteer on the young heroes committee, organized a book and calendar sale at the Louis-Charland Administrative Center of the City of Montreal’s Information Systems Management Division where she works. Twenty-seven books and fifteen calendars were sold on September 25th and 26th and the sale is still on!

The Western Canada young heroes committee made a donation of $18,500 by buying 10,000 English calendars to sell them as a fundraiser for the Herbie Fund of Toronto Sick Kids. The calendars are on sale through the Rogers communications network since October 28th..

Reader's Digest of Canada made a donation of $2,400 by buying books and calendars that will be offered to the members of their book club. Reader's Digest is an important partner of this global project and its contribution has had a significant impact on the success of the 2008 edition of Faces of Hope. Indeed, our 12 young heroes were chosen by Reader’s Digest reporters from around the world.
